EasyStack’s Changbo Guo Re-elected as Independent Director of OpenStack Foundation

Lately OpenStack Foundation revealed its personal independent director election results and Changbo Guo Head of EasyStack Open Source Community was elected to serve another term as an independent director after staying on the post for two consecutive years. Through practice in open source code projects and communities, OpenStack Foundation supports development and application of open infrastructure around the world. So far, it has been recognized as the de facto standard for the world's open source cloud computing infrastructure.

Changbo Guo has participated in and contributed to OpenStack communities for seven years. As a technical contributor, he has worked as the Core Reviewer and PTL in the Oslo project and led EasyStack's technical engineering team to make outstanding contributions to such major projects as Heat, Sahara, Oslo and Ceilometer. Serving two consecutive terms (2017/2018) as an individual independent director, he is familiar with key areas of concern of the foundation, collects feedback from communities and actively participates in communication. His victory in the election indicates that more Chinese tech professionals will get involved in the planning and development of the foundation.
