Founded in February 2014, the company was established by the earliest coreOpenStack R&D team from IBM China Development Lab. Based on OpenStack, Ceph, Kubermetes, and Docker and other open source software, we provide enterprise customers with open, stable, reliable and high-performance cloud computing products and services. In January 2017, EasyStack completed series Cround of funding, settingthe largest single funding record in the field of China open source. In May 2018, EasyStack closed series C+ funding of 300M RMB. In August 2018, EasyStackcompleted the C++ round of financing from JD Group's strategic investment.

In the newly released version of OpenStack Ocata, EasyStack ranked 8th globally among the core code contributors. In 2016, EasyStack was inducted as a Gold Member of OpenStack Foundation with an individually elected Independent Director and a core project team PTL. In August 2016, EasyStack joined Linux Foundation and became a member of both CNCF and OCI. In the newly released Kubernetes and Ceph distributed storage codes, EasyStack ranked 9th and 8th, respectively, among the core code contributors.

In July 2013, Xilun Chen, the founder of EasyStack, established the OpenStack China technology community, uniting the first group of technology and industry experts in the field of open source cloud computing in China and laying a foundation to the future popularization of the technology. In July 2015, as a founder member, EasyStack pushed forward the founding of Open Source Cloud Alliance for Industry (OSCAR) of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
